Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca is an Amazonian plant mixture that is capable of inducing altered states of consciousness. It is used primarily as a medicine and as a shamanic means of
communication, typically in a ceremonial session under the guidance of an experienced drinker.
The main ingredient of this jungle tea is a vine, Banisteriopsis caapi, which like the tea itself is also called ayahuasca (which means ‘vine of the soul’ or ‘vine with a soul’). The secondary ingredient is either chacruna (Psychotria viridis) or chagropanga (Diplopterys cabrerana), plants that contain a relatively high amount of the psychedelic substance DMT.

Ayahuasca should be taken only under the guidance of a respected Shaman.
Shaman is a person regarded as having access to, and influence in, the world of good and evil spirits, especially among some peoples of northern Asia and North America. Typically such people enter a trance state during a ritual, and practise divination and healing.
There is no single agreed-upon definition for the word "shamanism" among anthropologists. The English historian Ronald Hutton noted that by the dawn of the 21st century, there were four separate definitions of the term which appeared to be in use. The first of these uses the term to refer to "anybody who contacts a spirit world while in an altered state of consciousness." The second definition limits the term to refer to those who contact a spirit world while in an altered state of consciousness at the behest of others. The third definition attempts to distinguish shamans from other magico-religious specialists who are believed to contact spirits, such as "mediums", "witch doctors", "spiritual healers" or "prophets," by claiming that shamans undertake some particular technique not used by the others. Problematically, scholars advocating the third view have failed to agree on what the defining technique should be. The fourth definition identified by Hutton uses "shamanism" to refer to the indigenous religions of Siberia and neighboring parts of Asia.

The taking of Ayahuasca will inevitably lead, for most people, to vomiting and diarrhea, which is called ‘la purga’, meaning the cleansing of one’s body and mind. This is why the shamans don’t use the label of drugs. For them, it’s been a medicine for thousands of years.

Before you did the Ayahuasca you had to follow a strict diet and to avoid the following:
sugar and sweeteners, chocolate, soft drinks and energy drinks, coffee, dairy products, salt,, pepper, sharp spices and chilis, red meat (avoid pork 2 weeks before and after), fats, olive or coconut oil, alcohol and drugs (no alcohol-free beer either), 1 week before and after, ginger, ice cream, ice cubes or ice-cold drinks, bruised or overripe fruit, dried fruit and/or raisins, no sex including masturbation, no perfumed or synthetic soap, body lotion or other toiletries, insect repellent lotions, preferably no medication, especially antibiotics and antidepressants, no pregnancy, no menstruation.

The ayahuasca places the brain in an expanded states of vibration, working optimally and so, the person reaches higher
states of consciousness. Ayahuasca is not a drug, nor addictive, nor does it cause imbalance states of hallucination, nor is there loss of consciousness, however, the feeling is one of total control, greater alertness, body control, you will know where you are.
About 20 minutes after ingestion of ayahuasca, consciousness is altered, changing brain waves. Normally there is a reduction in respiratory rate, decreased metabolism, blood pressure, change in pH, etc. and thereby increases hearing sensitivity, smell, vision and touch.

In this paranormal ability level, emerges spontaneously awakening neurons, increasing the intellectual and creative capacity.

Ayahuasca is not a miracle cure in the sense that u drink the brew and all your troubles have vanished within a couple of hours. It is a miracle cure though, in the sense that it brings unconscious and seemingly other-worldly processes to surface which enables you to work with it while the effects last.
